Are You Religious...or Are You Saved?

In military communications when an important message or communication is to be sent, there has to be a way for the recipient to determine whether the message is genuine and from an authorized source. The method by which this is done is called, authentication. 

One way to do this is through pre-arranged codes.

The authentication code is included with the message, and is matched by the recipient against a list of codes, perhaps one for each day. If the authentication code matches the proper entry on the list, the message can be trusted as genuine and from the stated source. If the authentication code is missing or incorrect, the message is not to be trusted.


As in military communications, so with the Bible we have a method of authentication. That method is accurately fulfilled detailed prophecies. There are many instances of prophecy in the Bible, which have been fulfilled in detail to the letter. There are, I believe, over 100 details of prophecy concerning the Lord Jesus Christ, some written thousands of years before the fact, every one of which has been fulfilled exactly to the detail in the birth, life, crucifixion, death and resurrection of Jesus.

The chances of any two of these prophecies being fulfilled by happenstance would be remote. The chances against all of them being fulfilled by happenstance is astronomical, unthinkable. And yet, here they are, all of them fulfilled to the letter. By this we can know and be assured that the Bible contains the genuine words of God; that everything He says is true, and that we can be assured that those prophecies, which have not yet been fulfilled will be, to the letter.

Even today we are watching end-time prophecies coming to pass right before our eyes. End time political alignments are forming up just as prophesied, wars, rumors of wars are rife, earthquakes are increasing exponentially, conditions are setting up for worldwide famine, and the USA is rapidly headed for oblivion. Just read Matthew 24 and compare it to what is going on today.

Wars and rumors of wars, nation against nation and tribe against tribe, Shiite Muslims against Sunni Muslims, Hutus against Tutsis─and probably the biggest sign of all, plans well in progress for rebuilding of the temple in Jerusalem.

Read Ezekiel 38 and 39. We can see the stage being set for that to happen. Read Psalm 83, and look at the political alignments that are forming up even as I write. Try to find anywhere the United States of America is mentioned in end-time prophecy. It isn’t there. As I write, FEMA is setting up for a massive exercise along the east coast for who knows what. The Department of Home Security has purchased over two billion rounds of hollow point ammunition (who knows what they plan to do with that). It would only take a single nuclear bomb 300 miles above Kansas City to wipe out all solid-state electronic equipment and disable all, infrastructure over much if not all of the United States and much of Mexico and Canada.

Transportation would be crippled, supplies would quickly run out and millions would starve. And it has been said North Korea could launch such a bomb into orbit across the South Pole where it would be nearly impossible to detect it in time to do anything about it. There is talk of the possibility of a pandemic of flu and/or other diseases that could kill millions (pestilences).

And look at all the crazy weather: Massive wildfires all over the western US. Flooding of biblical proportions in Colorado, whole towns cut off and flooded out. Super storm Sandy last year, probably the biggest storm ever on record in modern times, doing tremendous damage to the east coast.

Morals are being thrown to the wind, sodomy coming out in the open, sodomites parading their shame in the streets. There is demand now for abortion up to three years after live birth, a child deemed not to be alive until the mother says it is; loss of natural affections. The recent case of Ariel Castro holding three women captive for up to 10 years, sexually abusing them and beating them repeatedly.

By all of these signs, the accurate fulfillment of prophecies past and present, God’s Word is fully authenticated. No other book of religion can make this claim. By this we can know that all the remaining prophecies which have not yet been fulfilled will be fulfilled, most of them in the not-too-distant future. Jesus is coming soon for those who are His, and the rest of the world will be left behind to go through seven years of hell on earth. Many will be killed, and of those who receive Christ after the Rapture most will do so at the cost of their life.

Are you ready to go when Jesus comes to take His jewels out of this world? Will you go in the Rapture? (When Jesus calls,“ Come up here!”) There is only one way you can be ready, and that is by and through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ and what He did on your behalf. We are all born sinners, and are sinners by nature. But Jesus has paid for every one of our sins on the cross at Calvary, and even the sins of the whole world, if only they would avail themselves of the mercy of God through that sacrifice made on their behalf. The way of salvation is so simple even a small child can understand it.

“For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son that whosoever believes in Him should not perish, but have eternal life. For God sent not His Son to condemn the world, but that through Him the world could have life. Whosoever believes in the name of the only begotten Son of God has life; he who does not believe does not have life, but the wrath of God abides on him” (John 3.16-18).

“For by grace are you saved through faith, and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God, not of works lest any man should boast” (Ephesians 2:8-9).

“That if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you shall be saved. For with the heart one believes to righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation” (Romans 10:9-10).
You can rest assured that God’s Word is fully authenticated, you can depend on it, that all prophecy not yet fulfilled will be fulfilled, and if you will do what God says you must do for salvation, you will be saved, and you will be taken to a place of safety before the wrath of God comes on this world.
